MACRO was invited to present the HR award at the 4th annual Executive of the Year Awards held at the Crown Melbourne, on the 26th of November.
The awards recognise the achievements of aspiring and established executives across Australia over the last year. Team members Rachel Byrne (Chief Marketing Office), Sine Mason (Executive Assistant to our CEO) and Sally Sullivan (Finance Manager) attended in recognition of their recent contributions and promotions, within MACRO.
Congratulations to Robyn Batson, Sportsgirl/Sussan Group who won the MACRO sponsored HR award and to The CEO of the year, Christine Holgate of Blackmores Group. We think MACRO have some contenders for next year’s awards, given our ‘MACRO Mission’ to build Pilbara Cities and strong communities.
Gina Rinehart, winner of the 2014 CEO of The Year award attended as a keynote speaker and our CEO, Veronica Macpherson got to spend some time with her at the ceremony.
Veronica has been nominated for the ’40 under 40’ Award (a recognition in itself), which is sponsored by the University of Western Australia and the City of Perth. We will keep you updated on the progress of her submission, with winners announced on the 9th of March 2016.
